柴油機供油時間過早或過遲，都會導致發(fā)動機不能正常的工作，本文強調了噴油泵供油時間調整的重要性。
噴油泵的噴油時間是指發(fā)動機在運轉中，噴油嘴向汽缸噴射燃油的開始時刻（用曲軸旋轉角度表示）。柴油噴人汽缸后，與空氣混合成可燃混合氣，為保證可燃混合氣燃燒充分，且在上止點后某一時刻燃燒壓力達到合適值，以確保柴油機正常工作。噴油器必須在壓縮上止點前某一時刻開始噴油。發(fā)動機在不同負荷和轉速下，對應有不同的噴油開始時刻。在標定負荷下對應的噴油開始時刻叫標定噴油時間。在使用中，按理應檢查標定負荷時的噴油時間，但由于受條件和設備的限制，用檢查供油時間來代替。噴油泵的供油時間，是指手油門在合適位置時，搖轉曲軸驅動柱塞泵油，在剛封閉進油孔頂開出油閥的瞬間（用曲軸轉角表示）。FE2
